Low Fat Turkey Burgers

 Here is my recipe for low fat turkey burgers that are so filling yet so healthy!!

 First I have to say this can be cooked on a George foreman grill or In a skillet but I prefer firing up the grill.


Take two pounds of lean ground turkey  and add in:
 1 egg
1 cup of  Italian bread crumbs
1/4 cup of  parmesean  cheese
1 Tbs of  garlic powder
1.5tsp  of  onion powder

  Mix all of this together and shape burger patties:





Cook thoroughly  and  enjoy!!!!

Tender Pork Chops and Rice

 So here is my recipe for my tender oven baked pork chops.
 Needed  Ingredients:
4 thick center cut pork chops( can be done thick cut with bone)
1 cup of rice
2 cups of water
3 beef bouillon cubes
 1 large onion
 lemon pepper
 garlic powder
 onion powder
2Tbs Olive Oil

  Preheat oven to 400  degrees  and then begin boiling the two cups of water with bullion cubes

Start by toasting the rice with the olive oil in a large pan.  You do this by mixing the dry rice with the olive oil in a large skillet over high heat  sturing constantly  until  rice  begins to  Brown then remove from heat. What I  like to do is toast  the rice in the glass pan I plan on baking in.

  
  Next season both sides of the pork chops with lemon pepper, onion powder and garlic powder and then place   pork   chops over rice.    Topping the pork chops with thin slices of onion  rings.

Pour your beef flavored water into pan:




 


  Top with aluminum foil and bake for 45  minutes

Easy Chicken Pot Pie

So here is my I guess you could call it cheater's way of making chicken pot pie.  It only takes about an hour and is amazing! 
First here is what you will need:
 1: A can of sweet peas
2: A can of sliced carrots
3: 2 Can's of cream of potato condensed soup
4: Ready made roll out pie crust/dough
5:  Chicken tenders/breasts
6: garlic powder
7: Onion Powder

Preheat oven to 400 degrees
Step one: roll out one of your pie crusts and place this in the bottom of a deep dish backing pan.  I like to use a glass brownie pan and form the round sides up into the edges. 
Then in a large skillet cook your chicken and cut it up into small pieces. 
Next drain your peas and carrots and pour into the large skillet. 
Then empty contents of the cream of potato condensed soup**DO NOT ADD MILK***
Then mix in a teaspoon of garlic powder and a teaspoon of onion powder and mix it all thouroughly.

Then pour contents into your prepared pie crust:

Next top with your prepared pie crust meshing the edges together to give a nice crust, then cut slits across the pie crust.

Next use aluminum foil to wrap around the thicker parts of the crust*they will burn if you do not





Bake in preheated 400 degree oven for 45 minutes, then remove foil and place in oven for additional 5 minutes.


Remove, let cool and enjoy!!!

Vegetable Beef Stew

So here is an amazing recipe I have perfected for Vegetable Beef Stew.  I love serving it in a bread bowl(these can be bought at Panera for $1.50) And are just perfect for any soup, chowder or stew. 

List of needed Ingredients:

2 pounds cubed beef stew meat

    In a large pot or dutch oven, cook beef in oil over medium heat until brown.  This will create a lot of excess water, do not dump this.  Boil 4 cups of water then dissolve bouillon in the water and pour into pot. Stir in rosemary, parsley, garlic and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover and simmer 1 hour.
     
    Next stir in potatoes, carrots, celery, and onion into the pot. Dissolve cornstarch in 2 teaspoons cold water and stir into stew. Cover and simmer 1 hour more.  Remove from heat and let cool down a little then ENJOY!
     
    This soup is also very good if you do not use a bread bowl and you through in 1 cup of already cooked rice.
     

     

    Delicious Flat Bread Pizza

    With this recipe I recommend making your own pizza dough but if you do not have a bread machine then by all means it can be cooked with ready made frozen pizza dough.  I will divide this recipe into two sections first the pizza dough then the pizza toppings so if you aren't making your own pizza dough feel free to scroll through.

    PIZZA DOUGH**using dough setting on your bread maker***
    1. Pour wet ingredients into the bread maker 1 1/4 cup water, and 2Tbsp. + 1 tsp. olive oil.
    2. Put the dry ingredients into the bread maker: 3 1/2 cup flour, 1 Tbsp. sugar, 1/2 Tbsp salt/
    3. Make a small well in the center of the dry ingredient, put 2 1/4 tsp. yeast or one packet.
    4. Add 1 tsp. oregano and 2 tsp. garlic powder
    5. Set the bread machine to dough setting, and let it run through cycle

    I then allow the dough to sit in a warm place for one hour after the cycle is complete

    Divide this dough into three sections then roll out over a flour covered counter top or table into thin flat  squares.  Now your ready for baking

    BUFFALO CHICKEN FLAT BREAD PIZZA:
     
    Preheat oven to 400 degrees (350 if you want softer dough)
    Place dough on ungreased baking sheet
    Apply your choice Buffalo wing sauce directly onto dough then top with shredded mexican cheese then sprinkle with blue cheese crumbles
    On top of this place precooked chicken(you can use rotisserie chicken  or chicken you have cooked already) 
    Then top with a thin layer of mozzerella cheese topped with a layer of mexican shredded cheese, then sprinkle with blue cheese crumbles. 
    Finally Drizzle with Buffalo Wing Sauce across entire pizza 
    Bake in oven for 25-30 min allow to cool then slice and enjoy. 

    BBQ CHICKEN FLAT BREAD PIZZA:

    Preheat oven to 400 degrees (350 if you want softer dough)
    Place dough on ungreased baking sheet
    Apply your choice BBQ sauce(I prefer Sweet Baby Rays) directly onto dough then top with shredded mexican cheese then a few pieces of fresh mozzerella sprinkled here or there
    On top of this place precooked chicken(you can use rotisserie chicken  or chicken you have cooked already) 
    Then top with a thin layer of mozzerella cheese topped with a thicker layer of mexican shredded cheese
    Finally Drizzle with BBQ Sauce across entire pizza 
    Bake in oven for 25-30 min allow to cool then slice and enjoy. 

    This recipe is so easy and can be done with ANY topping/style you want.  You could do one with mushrooms and baby spinach.  One with bacon and ham.  You can use pizza sauce and do a pepperoni one  Whatever you want...so easy and perfect for game day treats!
